Carol Owens LLC ("I," "me," or "my") runs iamcarolowens.com and related pages, guides, courses, and products. This policy explains what information I collect, how I use it, and the choices you have. Information I collect

Information you give me: your first name and email address when you sign up for a free guide or my email list; your phone number, shipping address, and billing details if you place an order; and anything you send me in a message or email.
Messages on social platforms: if you comment a keyword or message me on Instagram or Facebook to get a guide or link, my messaging tool receives your public name, your comment or message, and your account handle.
Technical information: your browser, device, approximate location, pages visited, and links clicked, collected through cookies and similar tools.
Health information: I don't ask you to share personal health information on my pages or in my forms. Please don't send it to me by email or message. Anything you choose to share is used only to reply to you.

How I use your information

To deliver the free guide, courses, and products you ask for.
To send emails you opted in to receive, such as tips, updates, and offers.
To process orders, shipments, recurring payments, and customer service.
To answer your questions and improve my content and website.
To meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements.

Email and your consent

I only send marketing emails to people who check the consent box on a sign-up form or otherwise clearly agree. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also email me to be removed. I never sell your email address.

Who I share information with

I use trusted services to run my business, and they process your information only to provide their service to me:

Firestarter Funnels (a platform built on HighLevel) for my website, email list, forms, and courses.
Shopify and PayWhirl for my store and recurring subscription billing, along with payment processors such as Stripe. I don't see or store your full card number.
ManyChat, Instagram, and Facebook for social messaging automations.
Shipping carriers and fulfillment partners to deliver orders.
Accountants, advisors, and authorities when required by law.

I don't sell your personal information. These providers have their own privacy policies.

Cookies and tracking

My pages use cookies and similar tools to keep the site working, understand which pages people visit, and measure whether ads and posts are working. The platform that hosts my pages (Firestarter Funnels) collects basic visit information, such as page views and form submissions. I don't currently add separate analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, I will update this policy. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work.

How long I keep information

I keep your information as long as you're on my list or customer records, and as long as the law requires for taxes and records. When you unsubscribe, I stop emailing you, and I can delete your record on request.

Security

I use reputable platforms and reasonable safeguards, but no online service is perfectly secure, so I can't guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information I hold about you, or to stop receiving emails, by contacting me at the address above. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, and I'll respond to valid requests as the law requires.

Children

My content is for adults. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and if I learn that I have, I'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
